Saskatchewan events featured in the ABA Top 100 Events 2016

The Craven Country Jamboree, Western Canadian Agribition, RCMP Sunset Retreat Ceremonies and the First Nations University of Canada 38th Annual Spring Celebration Pow-Wow have all been have been designated as Top 100 Events in North American for 2016 by the American Bus Association. The list is used by travel professionals and motorcoach operators to incorporate new product into their itineraries. More information on the 2016 ABA Top 100 Events can be found here.

Swift Current hosts the world in 2016 

From March 19th to the 27th Swift Current will once again host the 2016 Ford World Women’s Curling Championship at the Credit Union i-plex, where the event was hosted for the second time in Saskatchewan’s history in 2010. Curling is Saskatchewan’s official sport so it is only fitting that this event will once again be hosted in the province. More information can be found here

The Remai Modern is becoming… 

Construction is well underway and excitement is building for the opening of the Remai Modern Art Gallery of Saskatchewan is taking shape on the shores of the South Saskatchewan River in the River Landing area of Saskatoon. With their award winning design, the Remai will be set to display the world’s most comprehensive collection of Picasso linocuts along with world-class art exhibitions in 2016.
